10 Celebrity Engagement Rings Giving Us Serious FOMO

When it comes to celebrity engagement rings, the FOMO is VERY real. A lot of celebrities like to keep components of their personal lives private, however, it is understandable that engagement announcements likely spring from the celeb’s inability to keep such gorgeous, lavish, incredibly LARGE pieces of jewelry hidden.

Rings like Em Rata’s and Heidi Klum’s are meant to be seen and coveted, and sometimes even replicated. Seriously, who can blame them for wanting the world to see their gorgeous engagement rings? Def not us. They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and we can’t disagree when it comes to our favorite celebrity engagement rings. Similar to showing your hairdresser a cutout of your favorite celebrity whose look you’d love to duplicate, we love to work with photos of celebrity engagement rings to help make your dream ring a reality.  We do have some favorites in mind that will likely be at the top of your list as well, along with some Great Heights dupes that could be a perfect replica of your favorite styles.

Some of Our Favorite Celeb Rings

The predecessor to Kate Middleton and previous owner of the passed down engagement ring was Princess Diana with her incredible 12-carat oval Ceylon sapphire stone surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds, set in 18-karat white gold. Princess Diana’s ‘out of the norm’ engagement ring was no exception to her distinct sense of style, and we champion her sense of individuality and obvious great taste. We think that our Split Shank Double Oval Halo set in 18-karat white gold would be a great approach to take if you want a similar looking ring with all diamonds as opposed to the sapphire center stone. The double halo will make the ring appear to be a lot bigger than it actually is, and it promotes a similar, royal feel.

Although Elizabeth Taylor sported several different engagement rings in her lifetime, two of our favorites included very large emerald-cut diamonds, presumably set in 18-karat white gold or platinum.  Elizabeth Taylor is a style icon, and it would be silly for anyone to not want to replicate some of her engagement rings. A really great option when channeling your inner Elizabeth Taylor would be our Rosette Solitaire ring with a 3-carat emerald-cut center stone, set in 18-carat white gold. This ring possesses an antique feel due to the intricate detailing displayed on the band.

Switching gears to a more modern love story, and one of our favorites, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. Need we say more? But let’s focus on the ring and not the fairytale romance for a second. Despite the fact that Kunis told Conan O’Brien that she doesn’t normally wear her gorgeous Tiffany engagement ring, we still believe it is something the world should get to see! Her simple round-cut diamond on a white gold band is a simpler ring to replicate, and if you are looking for a more timeless, forever-in-style ring like hers, our Delicate Solitaire ring with a round-cut diamond set in 18-karat white gold or platinum would be the perfect choice.

We would be seriously disturbed if we didn’t discuss the elephant in the room (literally and figuratively given the size of this ring), but Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring (before it was infamously stolen from her hotel room in Paris) was one of the all-time most stunning pieces of jewelry to ever exist. Kim’s 15-carat cushion-cut was set in a pave band to make the ring appear to be floating on her finger. Kim’s ring is nearly impossible to replicate, but our Chapter Classic ring with a 3 carat cushion-cut stone on a diamond 18-karat white gold band makes for a stunning option where the band delicately supports the center stone while showing off its brilliance, similar to Kim’s. Kim Kardashian would approve, and that is really all we could ever ask for.

Next on the list is one who famously claims she should not be fooled by the rocks that she got. JLo is still trying to convince the world that she is still Jenny from the Block, and as much as we stan Jennifer Lopez and want to believe it, it’s hard not to get fooled by her brand new 20-carat emerald-cut stone that currently sits glistening on her ring finger, courtesy of our favorite Yankee superstar, Arod. This diamond is so insane, we literally have no choice but to try and copy it in whatever way we can. For a similar look, we would recommend our Lyric Three Stone ring with a 2.25-carat emerald set in 18-karat white gold. This gives you a similar aesthetic with the three stones and diamond-encrusted band.

When it comes to fashion trends, Hailey Bieber is one we not only look to for street-style, but she also has A+ taste in jewelry. Hailey gives us a fresh perspective on yellow gold jewelry, and we are living for her enormous, fashionable, super on-trend oval engagement ring set in yellow gold. If you’re anything like us and you are looking to Hailey for ring inspo, we could create a very similar look with our Delicate Solitaire ring with a 3-carat oval diamond set in an 18-karat yellow gold band.

Last, but far from least, a ring that cannot be left unmentioned has to go to our girl Cardi B. Similar to Cardi, this ring truly matches her personality in that it is EXTRA, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Her ring is a blinding pear-cut diamond with a double halo setting in either platinum or white gold. If you love being noticed like Cardi, definitely check out our Split Shank Double Pear Halo ring set in 18-karat white gold or platinum. This ring will help bring out your inner Cardi, and we are very on board with that.

Several celebrities have opted for Great Heights rings, and this list includes Soccer stars Allie Long, Ashlyn Harris, and Ali Krieger. Allie Long went with a gorgeous emerald-cut diamond framed with two trapezoid emerald-cut diamonds on either side, set in platinum. Ali and Ashlyn each personally crafted custom wedding rings, Ashlyn deciding on a 4.5x3mm emerald cuts and 3mm rounds, totaling 7 carats set in platinum, and Ali a 5x3mm emerald cuts with a total carat weight of 5, also set in platinum.

From simple yet stylish to extra and over-the-top, this is a perfect guide to help channel your inner celeb by working with Great Heights on your future dream engagement ring.
